Lift

A new heist film is coming to Netflix, and it’s shaping up to be an action-packed thrill ride (or I guess flight?)

Lift, starring Kevin Hart, follows a team of masterclass criminals who perform a heist mid-flight. Fans got a sneak peek of the movie at Tudum 2023, the streamer’s global fan event, and some further casting details have emerged.

“There’s nothing like watching a great heist movie, when the perfect plan comes together against all odds,” Outer Banks star Chase Stokes said when introducing the film on behalf of Netflix. “You need skill, ingenuity, and an expert crew who can handle themselves in any situation.”

Hart and co-star Gugu Mbatha-Raw went on to riff about the movie and previewed some snippets from the film, including shots of in-flight fight sequences and scenes of elaborate planning. From the new release date to the star-studded cast, here’s everything we know so far about Lift.
