There's a new series incoming and there's a good chance it'll be your next bingeworthy show that you tell everyone about (even if they never asked in the first place).

Surrounding a family with deep roots in the country music industry, FOX's Monarch is already on music lovers' radar. Starring award-winning singer Trace Adkins and Thelma & Louise actress Susan Sarandon fans are in store for an explosive new drama that's giving Nashville meets Yellowstone vibes. With special appearances from Shania Twain, Martina McBride, Little Big Town, and more, here's what we know so far about Season 1.

First things first — what is Monarch about?

Yellowstone fans have become familiar with the Duttons, but there's a new dysfunctional family in "television town" and they're a force to be reckoned with.

Monarch is centered around the Roman family a.k.a the "first family of country music." Albie Roman (Adkins) and his wife Dottie Roman (Sarandon) have built a musical dynasty together, but when their daughter Nicky attempts to protect their reign in country music while ensuring her own stardom alongside her brother Luke and sister Gigi, the origins of their fame are not what they seem.

In the Roman family, when you inherit the dynasty, you also inherit the family secrets. After all, heavy is the head that wears the crown.

When does Monarch premiere?

FOX's Monarch officially premiered on Sunday, September 11, but after its debut episode, the show will move to its permanent time slot of Tuesdays at 9 p.m. starting September 20.

How to watch Monarch:

Country music fans can catch the new drama series live on FOX or through other providers that carry the network like Fubo, Hulu, Sling and Youtube TV.
