Here’s an uplifting makeover story you’ll love. A video made in 2015 showing the makeover of a homeless man in Palma, Majorca, has recently gone viral thanks to the amazing transformation and the fact that well… the video is giving folks some serious feels.

Jose Antonio (who locals call Josete) was homeless in 2015 and hustling in the streets as an unlicensed car parking attendant in order to scrape by. A salon owner who knew Antonio from around town offered to have him come in to get a haircut and a dye job. In the video, we see a pre-groomed Antonio with voluminous, white shoulder-length hair and a matching beard get his hair and beard cut, styled, and dyed into a more polished and hip look. They dress him in a crisp, clean shirt and trousers.

And the reveal? Hope you came with some tissues, because we guarantee it will have your eyes sweating. Antonio’s reaction is one of awe and joy — he barely recognizes himself in the mirror but is clearly pleased and quite moved by his new look. And apparently, the locals who knew Josete were equally as taken aback by his makeover, according to the Mirror. The salon, La Salvajería, reposted the video in honor of its third birthday.

Since his makeover, the 55-year-old is no longer homeless and has been keeping up his look. He’s also reportedly on the hunt for a job. It appears the makeover has given him a new spark of ambition, which is telling. Sometimes a haircut can be more than just a haircut. It can give you a new outlook on life.
