Watch Taylor Swift Walk Barefoot Through a Subway in Her “Delicate” Music Video

For Taylor Swift, no two music videos are alike — and her new clip is no exception. But one key detail in the video for her new single, "Delicate," which premiered at the iHeart Radio Music Awards on Sunday, stood out: the singer walked barefoot through a city subway and made it out OK. A true feat if you know what I mean (sorry!).

The video shows Taylor doing a contemporary style dance from a dressing room, through a rainy city, and into a subway. While the public transportation in question was likely a set and not a real metro, fans on social media are very confused by the choice. "I wanna give Taylor some flip flops but I guess she likes it that she's barefoot but flip flops are comfortable too honey," one concerned fan wrote on Twitter. "You guys, I’m really worried about Taylor being barefoot on the subway," echoed a second person. Others were unsettled, but less concerned about Taylor and more with their own well-being watching it. "Unnecessarily high anxiety over Taylor Swift dancing in the subway barefoot! (Subtle message here: Love makes us truly do crazy things)," wrote yet another fan.

Despite the disturbing feeling we all may have gotten watching her walk around the subway sans shoes, the video seems to be receiving positive feedback from her devoted Swifties. Perhaps, Taylor should take notes on the barefoot response for her upcoming tour: fans like a shoe with their "Reputation" songs.
