You guys, there's literally less than a week to go until you can stream Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour movie in the UK, from the comfort of your sofa. Could there be better plans for the week ahead???
There aren’t many things that can make the Eras Tour that much better than it already is (see: glitzy outfits and friendship bracelets) - except for cozying up with a bottle of wine in the comfort of your own sofa.
And now, Taylor Swift has revealed her Eras Tour will be available, to not only rent from the comfort of your home, but will also be available to stream on a major platform. Ahead, find all the details about where and when to stream the Eras Tour movie.
Where can you stream the Eras Tour movie in the UK?
Good news! Taylor recently announced from 15 March, 2024, the Eras Tour movie will officially be on streaming platform Disney+.
In a post shared on her Instagram on 7 February Taylor said: "This week is truly the best kind of chaos. I’m thrilled to let you know I’ve found a streaming home for The Eras Tour Concert Film, and that home will be @disneyplus. For the first time we’ll be showing the entire concert (including 'cardigan', plus 4 additional songs from the acoustic section!!) and I’m calling it, huge shock, 'Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)'. Available starting March 15 which is actually very 🔜😆🫶."
After Taylor announced the theatrical release of the Eras Tour movie back in late 2023, there was a lot of discussion as to whether the movie would make it to streaming.
At the time The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the streaming and video on demand rights for the movie “are expected to be a hot commodity, with practically every major service throwing their hat in the ring and entering into conversations with team Swift. While it is unclear where the rights will land, several streamers have been told that the Swift team is waiting for the end of the SAG strike to begin negotiations in earnest.”
It was unclear where the streaming rights would land for the movie, as past Taylor-related projects have been released on Netflix and Disney+. While Netflix is home to the Reputation Stadium Tour movie and her Miss Americana documentary, Disney+ carries Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions.
And now we can officially add the Eras Tour movie to Disney+. We know what we'll be doing on 15 March.
