If you’ve ever been at a rave and thought, You know what this needs? Bikes, you’ll love the trailer for Darklight, a Sweetgrass Productions film that claims it "takes viewers back into a world of light and color." How? The filmmakers captured some serious riding under the dark of night, which—as if the moves weren't already cool enough—appears even more rad thanks to surreal lighting.

Riders include pro mountain bikers Graham Agassiz, Matt Hunter, and Matty Miles. Sweetgrass filmed the movie in conjunction with Philips TV and Swedish creative house Ahlstrand and Wållgren.

The night rides in the film showcase the "moonscapes of Southern Utah" and the "Ewok forests of the Pacific Northwest.” The moonscapes, with their dramatic lighting, make it hard to believe that the movie was actually filmed on this planet, and the Ewok forests make it look like you are watching a pre-distribution copy of the new Star Wars film.

Darklight took three weeks to film, and producers claim it’s unlike any other mountain bike video before it, pushing boundaries of what sports cinema can be—and it is pretty darn cool. Fair warning though: It might make you want to round up some friends and glow sticks and hit the trails at night.

The full film is out next month, but you can watch the preview here:
