How to Watch and Stream 'Parasite' Without Leaving the Couch

The Academy Awards are finally here!

Though we love the Golden Globes and the Grammys, there’s something special about the Oscars. The ceremony, which airs Sunday February 9 at 8 p.m. on ABC, always brings the best of Hollywood together. And we can’t wait to see which red carpet moments and intense performances we’ll be talking about this year.

One movie we know is getting a lot of buzz is Parasite. Bong Joon-ho’s latest film is a dark, yet sometimes comedic, tale of class discrimination. It follows the Kim family, who are barely getting by, as they infiltrate the rich home of the Parks. There’s a few twists we won’t spoil for you, but let’s just say there’s a reason it’s nominated for six Oscars, including Best Picture.

If we’ve piqued your interest, you might want to know how you can watch Parasite. Going to the theater is obviously an investment (gotta get that large popcorn), so we get it if you’d rather stream everything at home.

The good news is, that dream is totally possible. Parasite is available on Google Play, Vudu, and Amazon Prime. You can rent it on Google and Vudu for $5.99, or own it for $14.99. Amazon is doing them one better by pricing it a dollar lower for each: $4.99 to rent, $13.99 to own. We love a sale!

It’s still showing at local theaters, so you can definitely make a date night out of it, too. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, after all. Though considering it’s not exactly a romantic comedy, be warned that it’s only for the bravest couples.
