Well, summer is here and that means unforgettable summer cookouts, outdoor games and one of our favorite holidays—the Fourth of July! If you're anything like us, you're probably already trying to figure out how to spend your Independence Day, including planning the perfect barbecue, finding local parades and where to catch the best fireworks. No matter what the day may hold, we can always count on looking towards the night sky to see the bright bursts. Depending on where you live, not all cities and states host the big, beautiful fireworks that we automatically associate with the Fourth of July. Luckily, we don't have to go far to see a spectacular show. As a matter of fact, you might not even need to leave the comfort of your couch after a long day of pool activities.

Macy's has done us the favor of hosting the largest, most breathtaking televised firework show in New York City. 2022 marks the 46th anniversary of the anticipated event and this year's going to be bigger than ever before. But the real question is, can everyone watch it? Short answer: most likely!

How to Watch the 46th Annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks

The celebratory spectacular will illuminate the New York City skyline on Monday, July 4th, beginning around 9:25 PM ET. For those wondering, the fireworks will be set off from barges in the East River centered around Midtown Manhattan. While crowds grow steadily during the annual fireworks show, at-home viewers can enjoy the event without having to give up the comfort of your pajamas.

NYC's most impressive pyrotechnic show will air exclusively on NBC. With that in mind, the best way to tune in is to check your local listings. Alternatively, if you don’t have cable, you can watch the Macy’s 4th Of July Fireworks Spectacular on Peacock or other streaming services (like Hulu and YouTube TV) that provide access to local affiliate broadcast channels and national networks.

With the celebrity performance lineup to be announced soon, we can't wait for another great show!
