A new movie is entering the DC Universe this week. The highly anticipated Blue Beetle hits theaters August 18 as the Barbenheimer madness winds down. Dive into Blue Beetle aka Jaime Reyes's origin story as he puts on his magical suit and tests out his newfound super-human powers for the first time. With Xolo Maridueña as the lead, this is also the first time DC has cast a latino lead. When and where to stream Blue Beetle
Prior to the big Discovery-Warner Brothers merger, the movie was set to hit streaming platforms the same day it arrives in theaters, though that is no longer the case. Now, it is predicted, based on the average time similar movies have taken to move to streamers, that the movie will be available to stream in mid to late November or December 2023 (just in time for a holiday movie marathon!). Since Blue Beetle was produced by Warner Bros, the movie will initially stream on MAX, 60 to 90 days from release day.
If you're looking for a TV show version of Blue Beetle in the meantime, there isn't one. However, Blue Beetle is featured in DC series including Smallville, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Young Justice and Justice League Action, which are available to stream now on various platforms including Hulu.
