Mary & George is a UK historical drama miniseries created by D.C. Moore (Killing Eve) and directed by Oliver Hermanus, Alex Winckler and Florian Cossen. The show is based on Benjamin Woolley’s novel, The King’s Assassin: The Fatal Affair of George Villiers and James I, which chronicles the affair between James VI and I and George Villiers, 1st Duke of Buckingham.
