The new movie is set to possess screens this fall.

An upcoming Halloween movie all about a familiar seasonal Halloween store features two major actors sure to bring on the supernatural sentiment.

The new film, Spirit Halloween: The Movie, is about a group of kids who dare each other to spend the night in the eponymous store and soon come to regret it. But as the cherry-on-top of this deeply nostalgic moment, the cast has been confirmed to include '90s icons Rachael Leigh Cook and Christopher Lloyd.

In case you need a refresher, Cook gained major fame after playing Laney Boggs in 1999's She's All That opposite Freddie Prince Jr., before starring as Josie McCoy in Josie and the Pussycats in 2001. She also held roles in the 1995 cult classic The Baby-Sitters Club, and the 2000s mystery-comedy series Psych. While most may recognize Lloyd from his role as Doc Brown in the Back to the Future films and for his Emmy-winning performance as Jim Ignatowski in the comedy series Taxi; but he also played the nefarious Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Professor Plum in Clue, and Uncle Fester Addams in Addams Family Values.

The new movie centers around three boys (played by Donovan Colan, Dylan Martin Frankel and Jaiden J. Smith) that sneak into the Spirit Halloween store to stay overnight on the evening of October 31st.

Later on, their friend Kate (played by Marissa Reyes) joins them and together the group is tasked with battling the paranormal and escaping the store before the evil spirits possess them or the clock strikes midnight–whichever comes first.

The official Spirit Halloween: The Movie synopsis reads: "When a new Spirit Halloween store appears in a deserted strip mall, three middle-school friends who think they've outgrown trick-or-treating make a dare to spend the night locked inside the store Halloween night. But they soon find out that the store is haunted by an angry evil spirit who has possessed the creepy animatronic characters. The kids embark on a thrilling and spooky adventure in order to survive the night and avoid becoming possessed themselves."

Cook plays Sue, the mother of one of the teens (Jake) who was deceived by her son into thinking he had made plans with the two other boys to sleepover at their friend's house.

And as for Lloyd, he plays the spirit of a man (Alec Windsor) who possessed the Spirit Halloween and terrorized the kids in the trailer.

The movie, which Variety reported as being filmed mainly inside of an abandoned Toys R Us in Georgia, will be available in theaters this fall and on demand starting Oct. 11.–just in time for spooky season!
