The actress belted out a touching rendition of The Black National Anthem.

Sheryl Lee Ralph brought down the house with her performance of "Lift Every Voice and Sing" at Super Bowl LVII on Feb. 12.

For the opening of Sunday's big game held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona—where the national anthem was sung by Chris Stapleton—the actress took to the center of the field to deliver The Black National Anthem, "Lift Every Voice and Sing," a hymn written as a poem by NAACP leader James Weldon Johnson in 1900.

The Emmy winner donned a striking red off-the-shoulder jumpsuit with voluminous sleeves and matching elbow-length gloves. The garb was complete with gold accents and a draping cape, as she wore her hair in side-parted crinkled waves.

An all-white clad gospel choir accompanied the soulful performance with backup vocals, as the Abbott Elementary star belted out the meaningful lyrics of the historic African-American tune.
