Watch Shaquem Griffin get the draft call from Seattle reuniting him with twin Shaquill

The incredible story of Shaquem Griffin is well known by now. Born with amniotic band syndrome, Griffin had his hand amputated at the age of four and has gone on to become one of the best linebackers in college football.

It was only a matter of time until an NFL team drafted him, but that’s where this story gets even better. The Seattle Seahawks selected Griffin in the 5th round on Saturday, pairing the prospect in a secondary unit with his twin brother, Shaquill.

In fact it was his brother who got to tell Griffin that the Seahawks were calling — and in a way only family members could pull off.

And with an uplifting story like this, The Internet did not disappoint with heartwarming content.

The call from the Seahawks to Griffin is enough to make you choke up all by itself. The excitement on all sides is truly palpable.

And here’s the moment the dream became a reality for Griffin.

Even his new quarterback, Russell Wilson, couldn’t help but get emotional.

We’re not crying…OK, why even pretend. We’re weeping. Join us, won’t you?

Congrats to Shaquem Griffin. In a draft class full of remarkable achievements, no one comes close to what he’s accomplished. The NFL season can’t get here soon enough.
