What to expect

There's little doubt that Samsung will launch its latest family of flagship Android phones during this early Unpacked event.

The Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24+ and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra are as good as confirmed already. And we've seen so many rumours on each in recent times that there's not a whole lot Samsung could announce that's surprising.

For example, we pretty much know that the Galaxy S24 and its oversized Plus model will have a tweaked designed, with flat edges around each handset. And there will likely be some major improvements to the video capture properties of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

However, Samsung will mainly focus on a new artificial intelligence system during the event, which it calls "Galaxy AI", so there should be plenty of extra details and features that could come as a surprise. It has released a teaser as part of the build up,

Samsung is also tipped to unveil its Galaxy Buds 3 and a couple of fitness tracking devices – including its first smart ring – so they will be worth looking out for too.
