RRR, The Indian Telugu-language Netflix adventure movie, has been absurdly popular since it came out last year. But you might have been a bit surprised to hear that a song from the movie beat out the likes of Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Lady Gaga at the Golden Globes. And no offense to those three, but that's because “Naatu Naatu” is an absolute bop.

And this is definitely not the last time we'll be hearing about the S. S. Rajamouli-directed movie this awards season. Oscar nominations come out next week Tuesday, and there's a good chance the movie will be nominated in multiple categories. At one point, the movie broke a Netflix record for streaming hours (45 million hours globally). It's the most popular Indian film on the platform.

And "Naatu Naatu" has become a phenomenon in and of itself, especially on TikTok. “When I envisioned the ‘Naatu Naatu’ song, while both of them (the actors) are great dancers, I didn’t want the steps to be so complicated that people can’t do it. It should be like any two people — whether it be friends, mother and daughter, father and son, two brothers or two sisters — would see it and feel like, ‘Let’s try this.’ And they did; millions and millions of people were trying to do the steps and posting on it. It became such a big phenomenon when we released the song, and it clearly (increased) public interest in the film,” Rajamouli told Variety.

So how can I watch RRR?

The answer to this question is blessedly simple. You can watch it on Netflix. The movie hit the service way back in March, 2022, and it's been picking up major steam ever since. In fact, it's been so popular for Netflix that they ended up putting it in theaters for a while. Depending on where you live, you might be able to go see it right now.
