How to Watch the Robert Mueller Testimony

The former special counsel will testify in two separate hearings.

Today, former special counselor Robert Mueller will testify in two separate back-to-back hearings. It will be the first public questioning of Mueller since he released the Mueller report, a 448-page report focused on an almost two-year investigation around Russia’s possible interference in the 2016 presidential election, as well as the involvement by anyone in the Trump campaign. (His findings concluded that there was no evidence of a Trump-Russia collusion.)

First, Mueller will appear before the House Judiciary Committee at 8:30 a.m. ET, and questions will focus on his investigation into obstruction of justice; then, he will be questioned by the House Intelligence Committee, with a focus on Russian interference, at noon.

Mueller is finally being questioned after weeks of subpoenas, wrangling, and rescheduling. Democrats are expected to illustrate the report’s findings as dangerous, while the Republicans will likely try to discount any of the Trump campaign’s involvement with Russia.
