Watch a Ripped Mark Wahlberg Work Out Shirtless in New Training Video

Mark Wahlberg has just inducted another member into his "4 a.m. club." The Ted actor, who famously wakes up at 2:30 every morning and is in the gym by 4 o'clock, just shared a look at his latest training session on Instagram. This time he was joined by vlogger and influencer Brad Kraut, who took on the intense workout alongside Wahlberg and then accompanied him in flexing shirtless afterwards, enjoying the results of their efforts.

"That's how you set the tone for the week," said Kraut after the upper body session, which included core-torching ab rollouts, incline dumbbell press, and cable pullovers.

While best known as being consistently jacked throughout his career, from his days as a Calvin Klein spokesmodel and Funky Bunch rapper through to his more recent roles in the Uncharted and Transformers action franchises, Wahlberg has actually undergone a pretty dramatic body transformation over the last couple of years. The actor gained 30 pounds in just one month in 2021 ahead of filming Father Stu, eating up to 11,000 calories every day.



"It's such a hard, physical thing to do," he said at the time. "Losing weight, you just kind of tough it out—you just don't eat, and exercise. And this, even when you're full, I would wake up after a meal and have another meal. I was eating every three hours. It was not fun."

Wahlberg lost the weight after filming wrapped, and has been back in the gym at 4 a.m. every morning ever since.
