Rebel Wilson has been proving how incredibly strong she is throughout her fitness journey this year—one Instagram post at a time—and her latest clip is no exception. The Australian actress shared a video of her flipping a large tire from one end of the street to the other—and that squat form is on point.

Wilson tackled the tire flipping challenge by going into a deep squat, shooting up, and lifting the tire in front of her before flipping it. To get the tire flip right, you have to engage the muscles in your legs, arms, and core, making it a true full-body workout.

Of course, she had some encouragement from her trainer Jono Castano Acero, who filmed her and also posted the video to his Instagram page. In the clip, Acero can be heard reassuring Wilson saying, “Transition the power. Heel to the upper body. Let’s go.” Her goal was to get the tire past the line on the ground, and once she accomplished that feat, she flexed her arms and did a fun “touchdown” dance.

After declaring 2020 as her “Year of Health,” Wilson has been implementing new workouts and nutrition into her life (she reportedly uses the Mayr Method). Back in May, she shared with followers her mission of “trying to get to 75kgs” (165 pounds) by the end of this year via an Instagram post.

On top of tire flipping, the 40-year-old’s fitness routine includes spending nearly every day in the gym completing intense battle rope exercises and getting her steps in.

In an interview with Hollywood Life, Acero said Wilson is committed and keeps up with her workout program, which includes daily cardio. “I encourage all my clients to do an extra bit of cardio during the day to keep moving,” he says. “A little tip is get a watch or use your phone to count steps and aim for 10,000 steps a day. If you’re on 9,000 steps at 10 p.m., you have to get it done.”

One way Wilson has gotten those steps in? Completing a 30-lap stair climbing challenge on the steps at the iconic Sydney Opera House. (FYI, it’s not for the faint at heart.)

“Obviously a lot of the TV shows and movies got shut down, so what I was going to do has been delayed, so I’m just getting ripped. I’m exercising every day,” Wilson told an Australian radio station, per the Mirror.

It’s definitely seems to be paying off!
