In case you needed more evidence of Prince Harry’s obsession with his wife, Meghan Markle, the British Royal showcased more sweet public displays of affection while joining the Duchess of Sussex on Thursday, September 20, at the Together charity cookbook launch.

Harry stepped out with both his wife and his mother-in-law Doria Ragland at the launch, held on the grounds of their home at Kensington Palace. Thursday’s party marked Markle’s first time hosting an event since joining the “firm” (otherwise known as the royal family), all in support of the women affected by the Grenfell Tower fire which tragically claimed over 70 lives and displaced countless families in 2017.

ITV royals reporter Chris Ship documented the day and followed along as Markle impressively delivered a three-minute speech without notes, served food to guests, and greeted many of the women who served in the Hubb Community Kitchen.

Harry made sure to support his wife and engage with the guests on the grounds of the palace from the side.

In one rather sweet moment, the Duke of Sussex attempted to even help flatten and save his wife’s hair from the wind. The gesture, which was shared via Twitter, shows Harry taking both his hands to jokingly “style” Markle’s silky, wind-swept tresses. He then adorably smiles to himself in approval of his actions. In another video, Harry seemingly appears to swipe a few samosas for himself while his wife engages with guests.

Markle, of course, delivered an impassioned speech, her very first as a royal since her May 19 wedding to Harry.

“Working on this project for the past nine months has been a tremendous labor of love,” she told the guests gathered at the event. “I had just recently moved to London and I felt so immediately embraced by the women in the kitchen: their warmth, their kindness, and also, to be able to be in this city and to see in this one small room how multicultural it was.”

She added, “On a personal level, I feel so proud to live in a city that can have so much diversity. It’s 12 countries represented in this one group of women! It’s pretty outstanding.”

The cookbook itself is the perfect registry addition for couples who enjoy a date night or a good hosting topic. All proceeds will go to the victims of Grenfell Tower. Together: Our Community Cookbook will be available in the U.S. starting September 25.
