Watch This POV Footage of Nathan Florence Surfing Huge Second Reef at Pipeline

The historic Black Friday swell was the gift that keeps on giving. It's spawned a ton of footage from the North Shore and Maui, and now we've got some more.

So far, we have seen Kai Lenny reveal his superhuman powers by doing a flip at huge Jaws before getting eaten alive by a monstrous wave reminding us of his mortality

Over on the North Shore, Koa Smith surfed huge Waimea Bay to train for the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational (he's an alternate). Meanwhile, the local big wave crew of Koa Rothman, Nathan Florence, Eli Olson, and Mark Healey, pushed their limits paddling in at the North Shore's outer reefs.

Thanks to Florence's latest vlog above, we get to relive more of the historic swell.

He captioned the edit:

"POV Raw Clips Leash Breaks at Second Reef Pipe Time to Swim"

The caption pretty much sums it off. Florence charges Pipeline and chaos ensues.

Lots of duck diving, lots of big, beautiful waves, and even a broken leash that leaves him swimming into shore for another one to go right back out for more.

"Well, this leash survived through the Europe Slab Tour. Pipe took it out. The end of the line as they say," an exasperated Florence says after paddling in from Pipe.

Press play above for almost 20 minutes of beautiful Pipeline footage from Florence's point of view.

As usual, viewers were super stoked on the edit and it's evident in the comments.

One of his followers summed it up:

"That was a brutal session"

Agreed.
