Trying to watch all of the Best Picture nominees before the Academy Awards on March 10? Maybe you just love Emma Stone and want to see this movie of hers that everyone is talking about. Here's how to watch Poor Things, the new Yorgos Lanthimos film, ASAP.

Lanthimos and Stone have worked together before on The Favourite, a bizarre period piece in and of itself. This movie went even further, and is nominated for ten Oscars. Like, think of a category and it's probably nominated–except for Best Actor, because this one has a female protagonist, y'all!! This weird, science fiction odyssey about the adventures of an adult woman with the brain of a baby has to be seen to be believed. Everyone is on one in this movie, not just the leading lady. Willem Dafoe is on one. Christopher Abbott and Jerrod Carmichael are on one. Mark Ruffalo is for sure on one. Watch and see!

How can I watch Poor Things?

While Poor Things has not yet been added to a streaming service yet, it is still in some theaters! See it with a crowd if you can! This kooky movie will feel funnier and less weird with a crowd IMHO. But if that's not an option for you, no worries! Poor Things is available for PVOD digital rental (Amazon, Vudu, Google Play, Youtube, you get the drill) for $20.

Rent it

The $20 rental price is steep. I know I prefer my online rentals to be in the $3 and $5 range, personally. But compared to seeing the movie in theaters, if you factor in the money you save on transportation, popcorn, soda, candy etc. it's not terrible. (In some areas, the movie ticket itself is close to $20–but not everywhere! I claimed that was a universal woe once before and got yelled at, so I won't make that mistake again.) You can also invite as many friends over as you want, create your own theatrical experience, and make them chip in via Venmo. Nobody will stop you!

And if you love this movie and want to keep it forever and watch special features, it will be available on DVD and Blu Ray on March 12.

When and where will Poor Things be streaming?

The film was distributed by Searchlight Pictures, a studio under the Disney umbrella—and according to a new report by Deadline, it'll be available for streaming on Hulu ahead of the Oscars on March 7.
