Watch: Planet Zebulon - Burton Culture Shifters 2024

Starting in 2021, Zeb Powell and Selema Masekela have collaborated with Burton Snowboards to bring together Burton riders, musicians, artists, athletes from other sports, and cultural icons to make the mountains more colorful and celebrate community through the shared language of snowboarding and being outside.

Burton Culture Shifters, which celebrates the experience of people of color through fostering community, has continued to grow every year since. Four years in, the event is bigger than ever and continuing to increase in impact.

Culture Shifters is a springtime gathering in Aspen, a great place to be for slushy laps and good times off hill. And Zeb just released a new Planet Zebulon from the event, which shares with all of us the immense joy felt throughout the time in CO.

BURTON CULTURE SHIFTERS 24! SEEING IS BELIEVING!! What I’m starting to learn from this event is that no matter if you snowboard or not, being surrounded by people of color from all different industries, cultures, and backgrounds makes you feel invincible. It was beautiful to see all egos go out the window, and the endless amount of genuine connection take shape, all based off of the idea of making the mountains more colorful. Thank you so much to everyone who came through and thank you for having made this possible. Only more to come ❤️🏔️🌈
