Remember the joy of popping a quarter in the gum ball machine, turning the dial, and having a round piece of gum roll out into your palm? Well, that's kind of the experience of watching Dr. Pimple Popper's latest Instagram video.

In a new Instagram video posted Friday, Dr. Sandra Lee, MD—the dermatologist and TLC star behind the Dr. Pimple Popper account—treats a patient with a pilar cyst on top of her head. A pilar cyst (also known as a trichilemmal cyst or a wen) is a benign cyst that forms around the hair follicle, according to Healthline. They tend to be found on the scalp, as is the case with Dr. Pimple Popper's patient.

In the video, Lee makes an incision over the lump and starts to apply pressure to either side of it. When that doesn't work, she uses her tools to widen the opening.

"'Cause it's in the scalp, it's not going to matter if she has a little fine line there," Lee says. "No one's ever going to see it back here."

When the hole is wider, Lee pushes again—and boom! The pilar cyst goes flying out of the opening. Thankfully, Lee is able to catch it.
