Watch Now: Oprah and Danielle Brooks’s Interview at “The Color Purple” Premiere

The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived: the world premiere of the movie musical The Color Purple took place last night. The film’s stars lit up the red (sorry, purple) carpet at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, and there were some seriously touching moments. One in particular was Oprah reconnecting with an old friend: Paolo Presta, host of the video talk show A Spoonful of Paolo, who was featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show back in the day. He interviewed both Oprah and actress Danielle Brooks (who plays Sofia in the movie musical) to heartwarming effect. Watch the video clip, and check out their gorgeous outfits, below.
