Seeing a neglected car get detailed to perfection is addictive. In this latest video from pro detailing shop AMMO NYC, founder Larry Kosilla satisfies our craving with a Pontiac Trans Am that hasn't been washed in 20 years.

This Trans Am, a rare 1975 455 High Output model, spent the last two decades of its life locked inside a garage alongside a collection of landscaping tools. The car recently received a new owner, who contacted Kosilla about digging it out and restoring it to a semi-presentable shape before it has its rust and mechanical issues addressed.

Kosilla, being a sucker for a good barn find, stepped up to the plate and brought the car back to his workshop to rinse it of the dirt, dust, grime, and mold that had accumulated over the past 20 years. He even went as far as to refinish the wheels and paint over some of the surface rust.

The result, as you'd expect from someone as skilled as Kosilla, is astounding. When comparing it to the car's original condition, it's like night and day. The owner was understandably impressed, and immediately popped a battery in to see if it would start. And with a little fuel sprayed into the carb, it does.
