Watch Miley Cyrus’ Wild New Video for ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’

Miley Cyrus is back with another banger, this time providing her country-tinged vocals to musician and producer Mark Ronson’s new single “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart.”

The song, co-written by Cyrus and Ronson, is string-laden pop backed by vocals that reflect the Cyrus family’s country roots — not necessarily her father Billy Ray’s ’90s radio hits, but reminiscent of her godmother Dolly Parton’s classic country twang vocals.

The song is Cyrus’ first new output since her 2017 album, Younger Now, which featured the hit title track single as well as “Malibu,” a love song inspired by her fiancé Liam Hemsworth.

The video for the song was directed by French duo We Are From LA, who have done clips for the likes of Kanye West and Pharrell Williams over the years. It features lots of little nods to Cyrus’ glittery aesthetic — including the singer’s slinky silver dress and shimmering disco ball.

Throughout the video, Cyrus is in what looks to be a car chase, as she ends up driving through a strip club, passing tons of excited fans, and even driving by some kneeling football players. There are even several small Easter eggs that eagle-eyed fans will have no trouble spotting, including a small ornament of a wrecking ball on the rearview mirror, pics from her “23” video, and even some giant stuffed animals like those seen in her iconic “We Can’t Stop” video.

Check the video out above, and see if you can spot any other Easter eggs!
