Summer is right around the corner and that of course, has us dreaming about hanging out by the water. We don’t care if it’s the ocean, a river or a lake. We’re not picky. We love it all! And the only one who might love the water and sunny days more than us is a cat? Yes, a cat!
TikTok user @mryan108 recently posted a clip of the life of a boat cat, which has already brought in nearly 2.5 million views and we totally get why. Most of the time cats can’t stand water, but this cat is unique. Check it out!

Aww! You can just tell this cat can’t get enough of being on the boat. And we can’t either! We need more of this content, and we need it now! In fact, we’ll take a live feed whenever the cat is back on the boat. LOL!

Now, this clip comes as a surprise to us because we typically think of cats avoiding water as much as possible. One veterinary researcher, Anna Ewers Clark, told Newsweek that this could be because historically, cats lived in dry, desert environments. The article did mention that Maine Coon cats, like this one in the video, are one of the cat breeds that are more prone to seek out water. The more you know!
