Watch: Lucas Foster Unleashes Never-Been-Done Alley Oop Double McTwist

Salomon and Monster Energy team rider Lucas Foster has been working on adding a never-been-done trick into his halfpipe run and landing it in competition for the the past couple of years, and a few weeks ago at Dew Tour, he did it perfectly.

At Copper Mountain during the men's superpipe competition, Lucas put down the alley oop double McTwist, a super technical trick, and rode away right to his first major podium. And he did it 19.9 feet out of the pipe.

It was a heavy day of riding at Dew Tour, and Lucas clenched third place, with Ayumu Hirano in first and Yuto Totsuka in second.

Said Lucas on Instagram, "Been battling to get that Dub McTwist into a fully landed contest run for years now and there's been plenty of highs and lows this season just dealing with the pressures and challenges that come with competing, so to land that last hit on my last run exactly how I envisioned it and to get rewarded so well was surreal and makes the battles beyond worth it."
