Watch: Let This Clip Inspire You To Go Skate A Curb Today
A lot of people across the country are celebrating Independence Day today with their friends and family. It's a day to celebrate, relax and more-than-likely take a little break from our work and routine.
For most skateboarders, it's also a big day to go and skate. Summer is here. The sun is out. Spots are calling. Chris Haslam was up and out early this morning and sparked some summer inspiration that I just wanted to share.
If you're working—especially if you're reading/watching this at work—then let me say I respect you, but that doesn't mean a great session isn't waiting on the horizon.
Sometimes it's as simple as boardsliding a curb and getting together with your friends for a slappy session to cure that itch. Will the curbs be as cool as this one Haslam is skating? Probably not, but that's not the point!
I saw this clip and the first thing I thought was: that looks fun. Fun! Without fun, skateboarding is nothing and between the spot and trick itself, this clip oozes fun.
The sunshine. The shade under the tree. This is some classic low-impact-high-energy-fun happening here.
So grab your board and get out there today. And don't forget why (and what) we're celebrating!
