Watch Lagoona Bloo Blow Your Mind With Her Mermaid Transformation
Real talk: there’s something truly magical about makeup videos. Watching someone paint their face to actual perfection and completely transform into a different person is, obviously, mesmerizing. But of course you already knew that, which is why you're here! Meanwhile my limited skill set (a lil concealer, a dash of powder, a swipe of mascara) and I stan in awe of the makeup masters. And let me tell ya, Lagoona Bloo is a queen of makeup transformations and blessed us with her gift on this episode of Cosmo Queens.
She begins with a squeaky clean face which is very, very important. You think the Mona Lisa started with a dirty canvas? Yeah, moving on. When she brings out the purple glue stick and covers her eyebrows, you know it's about to go down. Lagoona then applies an orange concealer with a brush—painting all along her jawline, chin and mouth—before making it rain with powder on her face.
Before you know it, she’s pouring foundation straight from the bottle all over her face and chest and starts blending it with a sponge. From there she takes a white powder and blends that sh*t out on her eyebrows, chin, nose, jawline, and underneath her eyes.
Next she proceeds to contour like nobody's ever contoured before—um, hello, did you know you could contour that kind of cleavage?!? It keeps getting better as she essentially turns her eyelids into a rainbow and then draws the sharpest black-winged eyeliner. Did I forget to mention that she colored her eyebrows pink? Yeah, she did that too.
And I know you’re having a hard time breathing with all this perfection, but you need to calm down because she's not done!! I’m talkin' fishnets, glitter, fake eyelashes, a mermaid bodice, and a gorgeous thick red mane that even Ariel couldn’t compete with. And, fin.
