Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard just got busy building strength and burning calories in a couples workout on Instagram. The two alternated between exercises and even got creative with the kinds of weights they were using in the video. Spoiler alert: a certain someone squatted with their spouse on their shoulders for an added challenge. True romance.

The actors turned the grass outside their RV into their personal gym floor and wasted no time in getting active. A time-lapse video of their workout showed a variety of moves including tricep dips, single leg lunges, push-ups, and back squats.

Kristen even added the motivating song "Gainz" by Kevin Ray to the background of the post to increase the intensity. And let me tell you, gains were definitely being made.

"RV gainz!!" Kristen captioned the steamy workout, and fans just about went wild praising their efforts in the comments.

"Gettin after it! The wife squat was 👍!" one follower commented. "Next-level commitment 😊," another fan wrote. A third follower called Kristen and Dax "#couplegoals ❤️ 🏋️♀️." Agreed.

Kristen has shared posts about her workouts on Instagram before and even noted one of her favorite songs to exercise to in a lip-sync video. No shame here! It's hard not to belt out Lizzo's "I Love You B*tch."

This also wasn't the first time that Kristen acted as Dax's weight. Now, that's just good teamwork.

But it's not all fun games in the workout world of Kristen and Dax. In 2021, Kristen shared how she has struggled to find exercise motivation. "I've been struggling the last 2 weeks, for who-knows-why-slash-ALL-the-reasons. Today I finally got back on the tredmill, figuratively and literally. And I'm proud," Kristen captioned the selfie.

Kristen added the hashtags #mentalhealth and #mentalhealthawareness to the end of the post to remind her fans that maintaining motivation isn't always easy, and she's right there with them.

Before the pandemic, Kristen discussed her love for the Studio Metamorphosis exercise classes. "I'm not in love with working out, and I've never really found a class that I love like this. Something about this class gets me," she told Women's Health in 2019.

Kristen's fave studio incorporates cardio, circuit training, Pilates, and CrossFit into challenging classes that she attended three times a week.

Before Kristen found Studio Metamorphosis, she had given up on having ripped abs, but these classes restored her faith (and her killer core). "I’m still roughly the same size but now it’s just all muscle...I feel so much stronger, and it's a physical feeling, but it's also a mental feeling. It's about the muscle value in my body," she told WH.
