The coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla will soon be the first ceremonial crowning of a British monarch in 70 years and the second-ever to be broadcast. For many, it will also be the first (and perhaps only) coronation they can see in real time.
This Saturday, May 6, thousands of people are expected to flock the streets of London to catch a glimpse of the coronation procession as the king and queen consort make their way from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey, and back. The historic occasion will also mark the first royal family reunion with Prince Harry since Queen Elizabeth II's funeral last September.

What time is the coronation?
The service at Westminster Abbey will commence at 11 a.m. London time (6 a.m. ET), but the procession in which King Charles and Queen Camilla depart from Buckingham Palace will start much earlier.
Where can I watch the coronation?
BBC and major U.S. networks—like CNN, NBC, and Fox News—are expected to broadcast the coronation live. You can access these broadcasts through YouTube, streaming subscriptions, or traditional cable television.
Coverage on BBC will begin at 7:30 a.m. local time (2:30 a.m. ET). Viewers from the U.S. can live stream the event for free on BBC.com and BBC News Channel.
U.S. networks will also extensively cover the event from the early hours of the morning.
In particular, ABC News and Good Morning America will offer five hours' worth of live coverage starting at 5 a.m. ET for U.S. viewers. These can be watched through cable television or on ABC and GMA's websites. GMA can also be streamed via Hulu with monthly subscription plans starting at $8, following a month-long free trial.
Anderson Cooper will lead coverage for CNN starting at 5 a.m. ET, which will be available to stream on CNN Live. Meanwhile, CNN International's coverage will begin much earlier, at 1 a.m. ET.
Finally, NBC's live coverage will also start at 5 a.m. ET. Watch their broadcast online via TODAY.com and NBCNews.com.
