You know the delicious, carefree feeling of the warm sun on your face and cool, crisp water lapping over your toes? Well, Kelly Clarkson and John Stamos perfectly captured that feeling with their irresistible new cover of The Beach Boys' classic hit "Kokomo."

In the video, which was filmed for The Kelly Clarkson Show's popular “Kellyoke” segment, Kelly rhapsodizes about afternoon delight, cocktails, and moonlit nights while John plays the bongos in a nautical-themed button-down shirt and aviator shades.

Their laid-back, at-home performances are interspersed with footage of the surf and sand and band members performing in breezy beach and pool settings. Short of The Beach Boys themselves, we can't think of a more perfect performer to join Kelly on this cover. The Full House star has been a frequent collaborator of The Beach Boys since the '80s and even played the conga drums in the original 1988 video for "Kokomo."

“I really love this song,” Kelly says at the end of the clip.

“I love this song, too, Kelly,” John replies.

Same here.

We got a tropical contact high just from listening to this amazing cover! Thank you, Kelly and John, for setting our weekend mood right!
