Watch Justin Hartley and the Property Brothers Roll Onto Set on an Excavator on "Celebrity IOU"

Celebrity IOU is back with an all-new episode on Monday, December 28. This Is Us star Justin Hartley will join Drew and Jonathan Scott to surprise his longtime friend Mat with a stunning outdoor living space.
In the exclusive clip above, Hartley takes a joy ride on an excavator as he and the Scott brothers make a very *dramatic* entrance onto the construction site — that looks straight out of an action movie. It’s definitely a 180 from the brothers’ project with Allison Janney and Zooey Deschanel.
To Hartley, Mat was the perfect candidate for a Celebrity IOU makeover. As he explains on Monday's new episode, he has been friends with Mat for over 10 years, sharing a mutual love of beer and baseball. Over the years, Mat and his family jumped from apartment to apartment; however, most recently, he bought a fixer upper with the hopes of turning it into his family's forever home. While he’s made some repairs to the home’s interiors, he has little left in his budget for the exterior.
That's why Hartley wants to go above and beyond (which, yes, involves an excavator!) to help his pal out and transform his dated backyard into a stunning outdoor oasis. During the episode, Hartley and the brothers will deck out Mat’s space with new amenities like a resurfaced pool and hot tub, an outdoor kitchen with built-in grill and pizza oven, and a putting green.
"Mat is one of those human beings that will celebrate the good times with you and celebrate when you’re happy and celebrate when great things happen to you," Hartley said during the episode. "But the true measure of the man is, when things aren’t going your way, he’s the guy that’s going to make sure that you’re not alone or that you remember who you are. When you have people like that in your life, it makes it easier to stay on track."
