Prime Video has dropped the first trailer for Zac Efron and John Cena's R-rated comedy, Ricky Stanicky, about a childhood prank gone wrong and a decades-long lie gone too far.

Andrew Santino and Jermaine Fowler join Efron and Cena in this film from Peter Farrelly, the director of Movie 43, Hall Pass, There's Something About Mary and Dumb and Dumber.

In his return to comedy movies, Farrelly explores childhood friends Dean, JT, and Wes, who create a fictional friend, Ricky Stanicky. Ricky's a handy alibi for their immature behavior, but when their spouses and partners get suspicious and demand to finally meet the fabled Mr. Stanicky, the guilty trio hires a washed-up actor and celebrity impersonator, "Rock Hard" Rod, to be Ricky. When Rod takes it too far, the trio begin to wish they'd never invented Ricky.

Other cast members include William H. Macy, Lex Scott Davis, and Anja Savcic in this throwback comedy from Farrelly.

Ricky Stanicky lands on Prime Video on March 7, 2024.
