Watch Jodie Comer in the First Trailer for the End We Start From

Jodie Comer stars in The End We Start From as a woman who, along with her newborn, tries to find their way home as an environmental crisis submerges London in flood waters and sees a young family torn apart in the chaos.

Based on the novel by Megan Hunter, Comer leads alongside cast members Benedict Cumberbatch, Joel Fry, Katherine Waterston and Gina McKee.

The first trailer reveals what critics have called an "intimate" and "powerful debut" from Mahalia Belo, with Comer's "knockout" performance at the forefront.

It has scored nine nominations at this year's British Independent Film Awards and is now heading for theatrical release in New York and Los Angeles on December 8.

A nationwide release will come in January 2024.
