  • To kick off Jennifer Lopez's "It's My Party Tour" last night in Los Angeles, J.Lo brought out a special guest: Her daughter, Emme.

  • A few weeks after Emme went viral for her moving rendition of Alicia Key's "If I Ain't Got You," J.Lo got emotional watching her daughter's debut on the big stage.

It's official: A star is born.

At the first stop on her "It's My Party Tour" at The Forum in Los Angeles, Jennifer Lopez began the countdown to her 50th birthday in a big way. She performed hits like "Love Don't Cost a Thing" and "On the Floor" accompanied by her signature choreography and plenty of over-the-top costume changes.

But then she surprised the crowd by bringing out one very special guest for her tour's opening night: Her daughter, Emma. The 11-year-old-whom Lopez shares with her ex, salsa singer Marc Anthony, in addition to Emme's twin brother, Max-joined her mom on stage in a matching tulle gown to sing "Limitless" from the Second Act soundtrack. As the duo harmonized together and Emme showed off her angelic vocals, Lopez got visibly emotional, tearing up and embracing her daughter. On Instagram, J.Lo posted the moment with the simple happy caption: "I can’t take it! #Emme #Limitless#ProudMama #JLoItsMyParty"

It seems this moment has been about a month in the making. In May, J.Lo featured a clip on her YouTube of her daughter singing at the piano to Alicia Keys "If I Ain't Got You." While Emme started off a bit nervous at first, after finding her groove, she belted out some major vocals that left even her mother in awe. In amazement, Lopez declared: "We should have her come out and do something on tour!"

The clip has since made the rounds on the Internet with a common consensus: The girl's got skills. And her dad Marc Anthony agrees. In May, he told Enrique Santos in an interview for iHeartRadio: “Music was a big part of my life growing up, and I hope it does the same for [Emme] as it has done for me. And if that is what she wants to do...well, she should do it because she likes it, not because she has to. Not for fame, or popularity, or for likes.”
