The North Shore came alive last week as its first swell woke it up from its winter hibernation.

Like most pros from Oahu do while their best waves sleep, Jamie O'Brien traveled around all summer having fun surfing all kinds of different waves.

We recently saw him surfing Kelly Slater's Surf Ranch, and before that, we lived vicariously through him scoring a lot of epic surf in Tahiti. O'Brien and crew also got on the summer Skeleton Bay train that had pros from everywhere flocking to its long barrels.

O'Brien titled the edit above: "I Found the Best River Wave in America!"

On his Instagram, he said, "Colorado was a blast"

J.O.B.s latest vlog is just under 20 minutes of exploring Colorado, surfing a river wave with a pretty solid crowd, and then some fishing back home on Oahu.

Press play above for some pure fun and entertainment.

The viewers had fun watching the boys shred something new:

"Kids got moves. Always a Banger when Jamie is on a wave!!!"

"Thanks, Jamie, Billy and Jacob for putting a couple of clips of me in the edit. Psyched to have met you guys."

"Dang that was a big fish! Did u figure out how much it weighed? Congrats on catching it."

"Came for the river wave but stayed for the air roll spins into switch 10 ft pipe freeeeakshow Heads still spinning."

"Lived in Colorado 3 years and never knew this existed! thanks brahh."

"I love these river wave videos so PSYCH man."
