It’s not news that actress Gabrielle Union and her husband, former basketball player Dwyane Wade, are the epitome of #couplegoals. And though Union revealed that her family did not trust Wade at the beginning of their relationship, they’re long past any hesitation. After all, the two are clearly so in love (just catch one of their many Instagram posts or the way they look at one another on the red carpet). And just when we thought they couldn’t be any more inspiring, Union shared a video of their go-to intense couples workout—and it’s some mega fitspiration.

Union shared the video late last week, and it looks hard, combining both strength and cardio moves for one tough circuit. In the video, the couple took turns doing variations of leg presses: Union walked and Wade opted to run on an inclined treadmill, the pair performed sit-ups on a stability ball while holding onto resistance bands, crushed back lunges while holding onto TRX suspension straps, and knocked out chest presses. If that wasn’t enough, they finished off the workout by pushing through cable chest flys, and finally, fans watched as Wade completed tricep extensions. Whew, we’re tired just from watching the clip!

Union and Wade have been married for eight years now, and one of their favorite pastimes is getting a great sweat on in the gym together. Union captioned the Instagram video, “I be up in the gym, workin on my @fitonapp fitness, he’s my witness.” The actress comically referenced the lyrics of the iconic 2006 song “Fergalicious” by Fergie.

Wade even snuck into the video’s comment section and wrote, “Met Gala countdown,” with a crying laughing emoji, joking that the two were working on their physique with muscle-building sets for the big fashion event coming Monday, May 2. His California wine company Wade Cellars’ Instagram account also commented on the video with fire emojis.

We know this isn’t the first (or last!) time Union has shared herself crushing a sweat session. The 49-year-old has regularly shared many of her killer workouts over the years with her followers, like her intense weight training workout last year at Heart and Hustle Gym. She also previously shared her full-body workout that keeps her arms super sculpted.

And Union has always been a fan of both cardio and strength training at the gym. “I like to mix it up so I don’t get anxiety staring at the treadmill,” the actress recently told Women’s Health. “Cardio could be jumping jacks, running up my driveway, side shuffles like I used to do in basketball, an elliptical, treadmill, or sled pushes.”
