Indiana Jones is back for his last crusade—not to be confused with The Last Crusade, which was, in fact, not the last crusade. Forty-two years after the release of the first movie, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harrison Ford is picking up Indiana Jones' whip and donning his hat one final time in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, which debuts in theaters June 30.

The Dial of Destiny is the fifth Indiana Jones movie in the franchise following 1981's Raiders, 1984's Temple of Doom, 1989's Last Crusade, and 2008's Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Whether you've seen all of the movies and want to catch up before checking out Dial of Destiny or count Indiana Jones as one of your pop culture blindspots, it's a good time to check out these iconic films. (Well, at least the first three were iconic...)

The first four movies are all available to stream online and the fifth is hitting theaters, so all that's left to do is decide where you want to start. Here's where you can watch all five Indiana Jones movies.

Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)

The first Indiana Jones movie follows the archeologist and adventurer as he tries to keep the powerful Ark of the Covenant out of the hands of Nazi forces in the 1930s. The movie also introduces love interest Marion (Karen Allen) and colleague Sallah (John Rhys-Davies), who both went on to appear in future Indiana Jones movies.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)

Temple of Doom is actually a prequel, set one year before the events in Raiders of the Lost Ark. In this film, Indiana Jones travel to India where his mission is to rescue children who have been put into slavery while also trying to locate sacred stones. Jones' sidekick in his film is a young boy called Short Round, played by recent Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan. Temple of Doom is also the most controversial of the Indiana Jones movies due, in part, to its depiction of Indian culture.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)

The Last Crusade was originally going to be the final Indiana Jones movie. This time, the archeologist sets out to free his father, who has been kidnapped by Nazis while searching for the Holy Grail. Jones' father is played by Sean Connery, while a young version of Jones is portrayed by River Phoenix.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)

For this adventure, Jones is once against joined by Marion and also by their son, Mutt (Shia LaBeouf). With this movie being set in the late 1950s during the Cold War, the enemy is now Soviet Russia. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)

This brings us to the new movie, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Despite the 2008 movie adding Jones' son to the mix, LaBeouf is not part of this final installment. Instead, Jones is joined by his goddaughter, played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge as they search for an ancient dial amid the backdrop of the Vietnam War and Space Race—this one is set in 1969. Directed by James Mangold, it's the first Indiana Jones movie not directed by Steven Spielberg.

But will it be the last? Well, it's much more certain that this is Indy's actual last crusade. "This is the final film in the series, and this is the last time I’ll play the character," 80-year-old Ford told Total Film. "I anticipate that it will be the last time that he appears in a film." Can't get much clearer than that!
