There isn't too much positive news following the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria in the beginning of February, but this one is likely to give you hope. The Turkish Ministry of Agriculture reported a remarkable rescue that you just have to see for yourself to believe.

Rescue teams discovered a horse was buried under rubble about three weeks after the earthquake hit. The poor horse was trapped for so long with no food or water. O.M.G. We don't even know where to start. This is truly something special. We're so thankful for these rescue teams working endlessly to save everyone and everything, including this horse. We can't believe this horse survived three weeks with no food or water. It's a miracle!

"Unbelievable. My heart is so heavy with this loss of precious lives. Prayers," said @michellefaithlove. Our hearts go out to all those affected. This terrible disaster claimed nearly 50,000 lives. "I feel sorry for any and all animals hurt or misplaced in this disaster," added @untamedhouseofbling. We think it's safe to say we all feel sorry. We can't imagine how scary it must be for all the animals. They're probably hurt or lost and confused or all the above. We're so thankful for the volunteers and teams who work nonstop to save and care for all these animals.

@eller12e commented, "Heroes. Y'all are so awesome." Heroes indeed! They put their own safety on the line as they execute these rescues. We can't thank them enough! Hopefully, there will be more stories like this in the coming days.
