The Kelly Clarkson Show officially returned for its fifth season on Monday, Oct. 16, and to celebrate the premiere episode, a few special guests surprised host Kelly Clarkson.

Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager of Today stopped by the show, bringing along a delicious snack of chips and queso with the dip made by Hager. The duo joined Seth Meyers–who was already there when they arrived–to welcome Clarkson to 30 Rockefeller Plaza as her show transitioned from Los Angeles to New York City this year, allowing the singer to move to the East Coast with her kids.

Kotb sat down and said to Clarkson, "Welcome to 30 Rock. It's gonna be so fun. We've been waiting for you. You fit here like a puzzle piece. We're gonna be looking for you in the elevators, and everywhere around."

The show also posted about the premiere episode and surprise guests on X, writing, "Happy Premiere Y'all! 🤗 We're kicking off Season 5 with our new 30 Rock family including @sethmeyers, @hodakotb, @JennaBushHager, Jane Krakowski and the amazing doormen and women of NYC! 🗽 Tune in for all the fun and surprises!"

Fans were just as hyped for the show's return, with comments like, "Today is a holiday in this house!" and "So excited it’s back…Have the best season yet and I’ll hopefully see you soon."

"Happy premiere day everyone!!! Am I off work today specifically for this reason?! Maybe. 😏 There must be no interruptions to @kellyclarkson or @KellyClarksonTV in this house. Period!" wrote another excited viewer.

While The Kelly Clarkson Show is just starting its fifth season, fans can rest assured that the popular talk show won't be over anytime soon, as it has already been renewed for season 6 as well.
