Watch a High-Stakes Game of Capture the Flag on This Week's 'Buddy Games'

In its premiere last week, CBS' latest reality series Buddy Games set up the bittersweet concept behind the show. Teams of four friends compete in a series of challenges, hoping to be the last one standing. But, along the way, they could face the decision to have to eliminate one of their own, or get eliminated entirely if their team numbers fall too low.

The stakes are high for the remaining 23 contestants, especially for Team "Philly Forever," which is risking complete elimination should they lose another challenge. and they've either earned a blessing--or a curse--set upon the house by host Josh Duhamel. Over the camp loudspeaker, the actor announced the next challenge, and they won't have to go far for it.

In the sneak peek clip above, Duhamel introduces a new competition for the players. Hidden inside of their lodge is a flag. The concept is simple: Find the flag, and win the right to sabotage another team in the next challenge, giving them a better chance of going into elimination and weakening them substantially.

With that in mind, as the players take off on their hunt, "Team OK" worries in confessional about what should happen should they lose. The quartet dominated the first challenge in the premiere, making them the ones to beat from the jump. And they're understandably worried, if given the chance, their competition would want to "even the playing field" in more ways than one. Suffice it to say, it's the most high-stakes game of capture the flag they've ever played.
