Last week's episode of Resident Alien found Harry (Alan Tudyk) trying to cope with his feelings of fear in the aftermath of the shooting while also trying to track down the baby alien. Harry dealt with his feelings like many humans do at one time or another—by burying them with copious amounts of food, much of it fried.

After Jay (Kaylayla Raine) confronts Asta (Sara Tomko) for missing her birthday lunch, Asta realizes Harry erased her memories of the day of the shooting and she demanded them back. Even though she was upset with Harry, she tried to help him face his feelings.

Harry tackles his fear of death head-on when he assists the terminally-ill Gerard (John Innes) leave this earthly plane.

D'Arcy (Alice Wetterlund) went on a second date with Elliott (Justin Rain). For the first time in probably a long time, she didn't sabotage her relationship as she grows closer to Elliott.

Marital woes continued for the Hawthornes but it looked like things were getting back on track when Ben (Levi Fiehler) and Kate (Meredith Garretson) talked on the phone for hours about everything and nothing. In the cute exchange, she was in the kitchen and he was around the corner in the living room.

The Jessup-Patience joint investigation carried on with Harry putting his two cents (and falsified autopsy) into the mix.

Meanwhile, Baby Alien took on human form as a child who died in the mines over 80 years ago. Sahar (Gracelyn Awad Rinke) recognized the alien snarl and chased after him. Somehow capturing him, she took him to the secret camper to hide him there. Believing that Harry's intent is to breed more baby aliens to be evil, she plans on training the baby alien to be kind.
