Guys are more attentive to their overall health and wellness than we typically give them credit for—but there’s still plenty of room for improvement. That’s what a recent survey found when Hearst Media (the parent company of Men’s Health) canvassed more than 1,500 men about their physical, mental, and sexual health.

One thing that stood out among the results was this: Only half of the men who have experienced a sexual health issue have seen a medical professional about it, and a full third of the sexually active men questioned say they’re too embarrassed to talk about sexual issues with anyone, including a doctor.

Based on this finding—and to begin to change this pattern—we invited four men who had never met before, ranging in age from early 20s to late 50s, to sit down and talk about the often uncomfortable topic of sexual health. We asked them some of the same questions posed to the survey participants, such as, “Do you keep up with your yearly men’s health physical?” and “Have you ever heard of Peyronie’s disease?” and they shared honest answers. We even had them react to some of the survey findings. Their banter was enlightening, and their responses were surprising—and not as predictable as you might expect based on their ages.

This video shows a clip of their candid conversation. Watch and see if you agree or disagree with the group, and consider how you might have answered the same questions. Intrigued? To learn more about the survey and its results, read about it here.
