Watch FIT's Future of Fashion Show Debuting The Next Generation of Top Designers

Tonight, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) will host their annual Future of Fashion runway show to showcase innovative design looks from the students graduating from the Fashion Design BFA program. The program features 5 specializations including knitwear, sportswear, intimate apparel, special occasion, and children's wear. In addition, FIT will debut a street style and athletics capsule collection following the student presentations.

Throughout the spring semester, students are mentored by the industry's leading designers which are assigned to each student by specialization. At the end of the semester, designers pick the best garments from each group and present them with a Critic's Award. This year, this critics are Thom Browne of Thom Browne (Sportswear), Christine Blaine of Ralph Lauren (Sportswear), Jaci Carley of Inhabit NY (Knitwear), Dao-Yi Chow of Public School (Sportswear), Morgan Curtis of Morgan Lane (Intimate Apparel), Lisa Di Napoli of Tommy Hilfiger (Children’s Wear), Luke Edward Hall of Ann Taylor (Sportswear), Mona Kowalska of A Détacher (Sportswear), Rubin Singer of Rubin Singer (Special Occasion), Stacey Tester, senior designer, Ready to Wear Knitwear, at Marc Jacobs (Knitwear), and Jennifer Zuccarini of Fleur du Mal (Intimate Apparel).
