Watch the First Teaser for the Live-Action 'Dumbo'
Disney has blessed the world with a teaser trailer for Tim Burton’s upcoming live-action remake of the 1941 classic, Dumbo. Starring Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, and Eva Green, the film tells the heartwarming story of a BB cutie elephant who can fly thanks to his giant ears. If the remake is anything like the original, it’s probably a good idea to bring a box of tissues when you see it in theaters next March. The remake’s music alone is enough to make one well up, TBH. Anyway, let’s talk about the new Dumbo! I’m happy to report that he’s just as cute as the OG Dumbo.
Here he is hanging out in some hay, not long after meeting the Farriers, played by Farrell, Finley Hobbins, and Thandie Newton’s real-life daughter, Nico Parker:
Here’s Dumbo all dolled up for the circus and on the verge of taking flight (a movie you can actually see in the trailer):
And here’s Dumbo having a sweet moment with Milly Farrier (Parker):
Is your heart warm? Great! Are you sad that Dumbo’s BFF Timothy (the mouse) is nowhere to be seen? Same. Perhaps this reminder will make things slightly better: Dumbo comes out March 2019, the same year The Lion King and Aladdin live-action remakes are due. Next year is going to RULE.
