The first trailer for Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon’s new series just arrived, and it’s even better than expected.
Apple released an official teaser for the highly anticipated drama The Morning Show, and it introduces us to the competitive world of broadcast journalism.
It opens on a behind-the-scenes look at a TV studio. The footage shows hallways, changing areas and a control room, while a series of voiceovers play in the background.
While it’s difficult to understand the overlapping dialogue, it’s clear the characters are talking about what sets them apart from other news outlets and journalists.
Highlights include “I feel that people are screaming for an honest conversation,” “I can guarantee you that you are underestimating me” and “I think they want to trust that the person that is telling them the truth about the world is an honest person.”
In addition to Aniston and Witherspoon, The Morning Show also stars Steve Carell, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Billy Crudup, Bel Powley, Karen Pittman, Desean Terry and Mark Duplass.
The Morning Show will premiere this fall on Apple TV+, the company’s all-new streaming service.
