Bachelor Nation, tonight’s the night. It’s finally time for the first-ever Golden Bachelor wedding. Gerry Turner is engaged to contestant Theresa Nist, and the couple did not want to wait too long to tie the knot.

“We are going to get married as quickly as we can,” Turner said during After the Final Rose. “Because at our age, we don’t have a lot of time to waste.” The wedding will be officiated by former Golden Bachelor contestant Susan Noles. And runner-up Leslie Fhima is set to attend.

After they say “I do,” the show will be sending Turner and Nist on a romantic vacation to Italy, which the two have decided to use as their honeymoon.

While The Golden Wedding isn’t the first-ever televised ceremony in Bachelor history, it is the first in quite a few years. Evan Bass and Carly Waddell from Bachelor in Paradise season 3 were the last couple to get married in front of the cameras in 2017, although they have since divorced. The first to do so was OG Bachelorette Trista Rehn and her husband Ryan Sutter back in 2003, according to Deadline.
