Watch the First 10 Minutes of The Equalizer 3

With The Equalizer 3 now available on digital home release, its opening ten minutes have gone up online as a free taster, just like how Blue Beetle dropped its first 10 mins free.

It opens in Sicily, Italy, where Denzel Washington’s Robert McCall currently has a gun to his head. He’s being held hostage by the mafia. How is he ever going to get out of this one?

The first film came out in 2014, and starred Washington as retired government assassin Robert McCall. After a 2018 sequel, this third film sees McCall take on a whole slew of Italian henchmen. It’s directed by long-time Washington collaborator Antoine Fuqua (Training Day).

The Equalizer 3 was a modest hit with critics when it entered theatres September 1, earning a franchise-best score of 75% on Rotten Tomatoes. It didn’t quite reach the heights of its predecessors’ box office, however, with just $158.9 million worldwide, compared to The Equalizer’s $192.9 million and The Equalizer 2’s $190 million.
